  the neurosurgeon called it glioblastoma.

  the radiologist affirmed it was glioblastoma.

  --glioblastoma is the brain cancer tumor that they diagnosed for my mother last friday from her mri results.

  BTW, I really feel at a loss as to how to respond to all the people who wrote on the threads... saying "thanks everyone" just doesn't seem to be enough.

  Do what Steve Martin did when he performed to live audiences:

  defd we were talking earlier and i didnt want to hijack the other post.

  we were talking about how i believe it is unfair for god to murder his children even though it is his fault that they dont follow his wishes not because they dont want to but because he did not make his wishes clear.. you said that his wishes are clear, but the devil distorts them.. you promised me you would provide me with some examples.

  Yesterday was a big eye opener for me concerning alot of people in here. There are a bunch of CRY BABIES in here.

  If there are cry babies in here who made them cry?

  The Watchtower may want to consider a couple of verses from the book they claim to adhere to:

  Math 18:5-6: And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me. But if anyone causes one of these little who trust in me to lose faith, it would be better for that person to be thrown into the sea with with a large milstone tied around the neck.

  I've never flown Jet Blue but my wife flies JB several times a year out of Long Beach and thinks they're great. I like the Airport. It is so easy to get in and out of.

  Never ever shop at Comet

  i went to comet yesterday and bought a new tv, it cost 1300 so ofcourse we handled it with utmost care all the way home.. when we got it home we took it out of the packaging to discover a huge crack all the way down the screen.. so i phoned up the customer service helpline and was put through to the store we bought it from, and spoke to the most unhelpfullest people on the planet, they denied all responsibility but eventually agreed to send an engineer round to fix it tomorrow.. then today i got a phone call from their repair department saying that the engineer was booked in error and that i should contact phillips, the makers of the tv.. so i phoned phillips and they said i should contact the store for a refund or exchange.. so i just phoned the store back and spoke to one of the muppets from the office who again denied it was their fault and said she will speak to the repair department again and call me back.. does anyone know what i can do about this or what i'm entitled to?

  Don't you take a close look at it before you take a £1300 item with you?

  I would think that with large items like TVs most people don't open the box and check it out before they purchase the product and I don't think the store would want you opening and plugging the TV in on their selling floor before taking it home. Most stores understand that there can be something wrong when you take it home and open the box and would rather chance that than have everyone opening their boxes and unwrapping the TVs putting batteries in the channel changers so they can try them before purchasing. Stores know that this would be a nightmare for them. However if Comet doesn't handle her problem I think it would be a public service stand in the electronics deparment and inform customer that they need to do just that before they buy.

  If there is more than one store I would ask the store manager for the address and phone number of the corporation. Tell the store manager you will be talking to them about how he or she takes care of their good customers. Fear of reproof from corporate may stir him into action. Even if it doesn't usually once you contact the corporate office they will contact the store and tell them to take care of the problem. At least that has been my experience.

  When am I an apostate?

  my father talked to an elder yesterday, told him i was reading crisis of conscience, other apostate material and talking apostate with my mother.... the verdict: i am not consider an apostate, according to this elder.. now i'm confused...i thought just being here made me one, but the elder says i need to be talking badly about the society to others jws to be one.

  does that even make sense?

  anyone has any written references from publications or others that clearly says that there are other motives then trying to convert other jws?

  Perhaps that Elder is on his way out too, or has doubts about the organization and does not support its views though he is still in.

  That was my thought also. Or at least he is an elder with liberal views. He doesn't really believe everything the WT teaches himself. He has to know what they teach on apostasy. I remember elders that seemed to be that way. Not the stiff company men that some of them are.

  I also agree with jgnat. I am not an apostate from Christianity only from their warped belief system. They are the ones who left 2000 years of Christian tradition to follow some nutter who claimed to be a prophet of God even though nothing he ever predicted came true.

  Most JW's, would rather not say Thanksgiving. (in my area)

  In my area I think they say Th*#$k%%^ng to avoid using foul language.

  When I was a Witness I was told Thanksgiving Day is worshipping the spirit of nationalism. ; Hence, idolatry.

  That make perfect sense. At least to you if you are member of a group that thinks celebrating someones birthday is worshiping them.
